At Brierley Primary School, every day counts.

We want every child attending school regularly, arriving on time and making the most of every learning opportunity.

Our gates open at 8:30am and close at 8:45am each morning. Staff welcome the children onto the yard. Arriving on time helps children settle quickly, meet their friends and start the day positively.

Morning Session: 8:30am - 11:40am

Lunch Session: 11:40am - 12:20pm

Afternoon Session: 12:20pm - 3:15pm

We ask parents and carers to help children get the best possible start to each day by ensuring they:

✅ Arrive at school on time

✅ Attend every day unless they are genuinely unwell

✅ Wear the correct school uniform and PE kit when required

✅ Bring any necessary equipment, reading books or homework

✅ Come to school ready to learn and enjoy the day ahead

Each year group attends school for longer than 32.5hrs per week.
