	Mrs McIntosh As Headteacher, I am very proud of our school and our Nursery, it is a privilege to be part of such a fantastic community. The staff at this school work extremely hard to provide the children with fantastic learning opportunities which will help them reach their potential. All the staff at Brierley make a difference.
Miss Byford My name is Miss Byford and I am the Little Bears Nursery teacher at Brierley. I have been here for a fair few years now! I enjoy teaching all subjects, but my favourites have to be history and guided reading. I have a passion for reading and discovering new and thrilling novels. Outside of school, I enjoy spending time with friends and family and cooking new dishes (sometimes unsuccessfully).
Miss Latham Hi, my name nis Miss Latham and I'm excited to have joined the teaching team in Reception. I have been teaching for 8+ years, predominantly in EYFS and KS1, and I love helping our EYFS children build those great foundations for learning.
Miss Potter My name is Miss Potter, but many of the children know me as Jenna! I’m quite a familiar face around the school as all my older children have attended Brierley and my 3 youngest children come here. I am very excited to be working as part of the EYFS team. As well as being a fun, friendly face around the classroom, a part of my job is to make sure all the children are safe, happy and having lots of fun during their learning activities. Outside of school, I really enjoy spending time with my family and going for days out together. We also have a lovely little dog called Ted, who sometimes can be very grumpy!
	Miss McGinley My name is Miss McGinley and I am working in EYFS and currently studying my NVQ, In my spare time I like walking my dog Dudley and spending time with my family. I like watching films and my favourite film is Harry Potter, I also enjoy socialising with my friends. I enjoy working with children and already feel right at home here at Brierley.
Miss Smith My name is Miss Smith and I am a teaching assistant here at Brierley. I have been working at Brierley for over 11 years. My children also attended Brierley so I feel it’s always been part of a family to me. In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with my family, going for meals out and watching films.


	Miss Baker – School Admin Assistant I deal with all the Little Bears paperwork. I am the person on the other end of the phone when you ring the school. I know that starting nursery can be a worrying time for parents and we all do what we can to make sure that both children and parents settle in as quickly as possible. I have two children who keep me busy and at home we have two rabbits. My favourite part of my job is when it is leading up to Christmas and we have lots of things going on for the children, such as visiting the panto, Christmas plays and Christmas parties, the children get so excited which is lovely to see.

Mid-day Team:

If your child attends full days you will get to know some of our mid day team: John Stephenson, Wendy Brereton ,Vicky Garratt, Samantha Mellor & Lisa Boon

The mid-day team are a happy, active crew – football, rounders, skipping and team games to name just a few of the activities you may see them participating in over lunchtime. All have, or have had members of their family at Brierley.
